Inspired by the Renaissance flat, traditional techniques were used to create furniture in keeping with its style. Notable details include a carved Celtic knot on the bookcases, a meaningful touch for the client, reflecting their Scottish American heritage.
To emphasize the apartment’s 4.8-metre-high ceilings, the freestanding wardrobes and bookcases were designed to stand at an impressive 3.6 metres, enhancing the grand scale and elegance of the space.
The custom kitchen provided a fresh contrast to the dark mahogany-style pieces. Made from lime washed european oak, it maintained continuity with the rest of the apartment through consistent door design, while ensuring a bright, airy feel. Close collaboration with an interior designer ensured a cohesive final look.
